Hay fever season is truly upon us and whilst we look forward to warmer brighter days for some this can be a challenging time. Unfortunately, there is no cure for hay fever, but symptoms can be reduced to make it more manageable.
Some symptoms of hay fever may include:
Runny or blocked nose
Itchy watery eyes
Sneezing/coughing
Headaches
Wheezing
Shortness of breath
Sinus pain
Some find that hay fever and its many symptoms can make sleeping difficult making you more tired and irritable. Lack of sleep can lead to more stress and lowered immunity.
How can Reflexology Help?
Reflexology is a holistic treatment and treats the body as whole. A treatment can help manage your symptoms of hay fever by relaxing the body and lowering stress. Less stress can help with improved immunity helping to tackle the symptoms of hay fever. Reflexology can improve sleep and mood also.
There are specific reflexes on the feet that would be incorporated into a treatment which would target the symptoms of that person’s hay fever. At the end of a treatment, I would also demonstrate helpful reflexes on the hands which a client can continue to practice after they leave the treatment room.
If you think you would benefit from reflexology, please get in touch.
Lots of Love,
Leigh.
